Standard essential safety test of Exit and Emergency lighting installation as per AS2293.2 sections 2 and 3 on a
6 monthly test schedule.

RCD's are a device which can save us from a potential electric shock. They must be tested on a regular basis. To work effectively they must trip in a certain time so they disconnect the power before an electric shock occurs. RCD testing involves simulating an electrical fault and measuring the trip time of RCD in milli-seconds.
Room integrity testing is a requirement for gas suppression systems to ensure that during fire situation the room is sufficient to hold the suppression gas long enough to extinguish the fire within. Testing for FM200, NOVEC 1230, Co2, Inergen, IG55 and IG541 systems. (ISO14520 / BS EN15004) and NFPA 2001specify that a room integrity test is conducted after initial installation, and then at least annually or if any modifications to the room take place.
